The team for the latest recording was very strong - Paul Merton, Julian Clary, Josie Lawrence and Susan Calman.

Also they played the first in the new series at 9am on Monday - one of the two JAM recordings. Presumably the rest will play in October and November.

So bizarre that the BBC broadcast this one random episode with no fanfare and at such an obscure time. You'd have thought they would have at least saved it a week for the Bank Holiday Monday and called it a summer special.

Why on earth is Susan Calman appearing all the time now? Is she becoming a regular, we might as well make david tennant a regular

Anonymous: It was called the Edinburgh fringe special
DoctorDan Alsop: I feel as if susan calman was actually a lot better than David tennent. He did repeat "stage" during his minute.

And Have I Got News For You will be starting its 50th series tonight (Friday 2 October 2015), at 9pm UK time on BBC One.

Team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop will be joined by guest host Jeremy Clarkson and guest panellists - TV presenter of Pointless and Two Tribes, Richard Osman (he needs to be asked to appear on Just A Minute!) and journalist from The Times, Camilla Long.

I agree with Anster, Richard Osman would fit in perfectly to just a minute

The first episode of the Paul/Josie/Susan/Julian recording has gone out, and it was a good 'un. Very competitive, very funny, and two full minutes were spoken!
